WHO AM I?

Hi, I’m Lilac — your friendly FRV Wolf!

I’m the tiny pastel wolf who shows up in every weekly update you read.
My job? To keep track of what happens inside our classrooms — the laughter, the challenges, the breakthroughs — and turn them into little stories for everyone to follow.

I may look small, but I carry a big heart for learning.

🌿 My Backstory

I was born in a quiet corner of a little library in Saigon — inside a forgotten children’s book about curiosity and courage.
One day, when a group of FRV mentors were teaching nearby, I heard something magical:
the sound of children finally understanding something they once thought was “too hard.”

That spark… woke me up.

I stepped out of the book, brushed the pastel dust off my fur, and decided I wanted to help.

Since then, I’ve been following FRV mentors into shelters, classrooms, and community centers — watching, learning, and recording every beautiful moment so I can share it with you each week.

🎨 My Colors & What They Mean

My design is simple — but nothing is random:

🌸 Pastel Pink Fur
Warmth, gentleness, and emotional safety. This is the feeling every FRV class aims to bring.

🌿 Soft Teal Ears
Curiosity and open-mindedness — the green-blue blend represents growth.

🖤 Little Glasses & Suit
Professional… but still cute.
Because even though I’m tiny, I take learning very seriously.

Soft Glow Around Me
Symbolizes “guidance” — like a little lantern of knowledge walking beside the children.

📚 My Role in FRV

As the FRV Wolf Mascot, I am:

• The Keeper of Weekly Stories

Every week, I collect insights from mentors, whispers from students, little smiles, big frustrations — everything.

• The Bridge Between Kids & Mentors

I speak the children’s language and the mentors’ language.
When a child is shy, I tell their story gently so mentors understand better.

• The Spirit of FRV

Friendly. Kind. Curious. Calm.
That’s the energy I carry everywhere.

🧸 Lilac’s Weekly Ritual

Every week, I follow the same little routine:

  1. Visit the shelters with mentors (I sit on their backpack secretly)

  2. Take mental notes when a student lights up with understanding

  3. Collect “tiny quotes” — the funny, cute, chaotic things kids say

  4. Write my Weekly Diary late at night with warm milk

  5. Send it back to the FRV team to post as “Week Highlights”

I never miss a week.
Even when it rains. Even when the kids forget to sharpen their pencils.
A wolf shows up.

My Promise to FRV

I’ll continue to protect this little world of learning we’re building —
where every child feels understood, supported, and brave enough to grow.

As long as FRV exists, I’ll be right here, writing our story one week at a time.
